1. When did you know you wanted to be a doctor?

Probably after I had the opportunity to shadow and volunteer in several departments at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

2. What attracted you to Allergy & Immunology?

In residency we had a lot of patients that had allergies and asthma.  I really enjoyed taking care of these patients and it was nice to see them improve. I later found a personality test that I had taken the first week of medical school and that assessment had suggested that Allergy/Immunology would be a good fit.

3. What are conditions you enjoy evaluating and treating?

Allergic rhinitis, asthma, venom allergy and I really do like to help people realize that they don’t in fact have food allergies.

4. What inspired you to join SIMEDHealth?

I have been an Allergist in several different settings over the last 20 years. I was excited about joining a growing Allergy practice and have the opportunity to provide excellent care to a large number of patients here in central Florida.

5. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Spending time with my family, playing sports, mowing and trying to figure how to take care of a farm.
